However, less than three months later, fans speculated whether Kylie‘s latest business venture is struggling.

One social media user started the discussion on a popular message board dedicated to the famous family.

“Is Khy already over?” they wrote in their caption before listing reasons the makeup mogul might have called it quits.

“No TikTok post in over a month. No new drops. Site still has a bunch of products in stock. Is this another failed business venture?” the fan added.

Others chimed in with their thoughts about the youngest Kar-Jenner sibling’s brand.

“It just wasn’t anything new, lacks quality and clothes suck. I would prefer if she made dupes of her favorite looks from her closet,” someone commented.

“It literally was just sweatpants and crop tops and puffy jackets. like we can’t get those exact same items elsewhere. I was really disappointed with it. I like the idea of her creating dupes of what she actually wears,” another agreed.

“People have praised Kylie for her more ‘natural’ looks and the cottage core aesthetic. If she had done something more like that I think it could have been more successful.

“Khy was just more of the same of what we already have & was just not very interesting or authentic,” a third suggested.

KHY FASHION

Kylie’s debut collection includes faux-leather pants, coats, and tops in sizes XXS to 4X.

Prices range from as low as $48 to the most expensive item costing $200.

The 26-year-old previously stated her goal was to sell fashion-forward threads at a more accessible price point than typical designer brands.

“The whole line is really inspired by my personal wardrobe, and the different moods that I’m in…[the first drop] is very King Kylie–who I am at my core,” the mom to two said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

FAN BACKLASH

Fans were critical of the brand from the start, with many admitting that they weren’t impressed by the clothes.

“Are these just Walmart sweats?” one person wrote in the comments of an Instagram post Kylie shared donning a pair of red sweats and a matching crop top from her collection.

“Why does this look like an outfit I can buy on SHEIN? Basic af,” someone else complained.

“Is this a joke?” asked a third with laughing emojis.

“Walmart 5 minutes from my house sells the same thing for half the price. Hard pass,” stated a fourth.

“People can’t actually be buying this crap,” a final said.

COSMETICS QUEEN

This is hardly Kylie’s first foray into fashion.

She also collaborates with her sister Kendall, 28, on their clothing line Kendall + Kylie, which is sold at the lifestyle retail store PacSun.

Additionally, she launched Kylie Baby and Kylie Swim in recent years, the latter of which received lackluster reviews.

The Hulu star filed new trademarks for the brand in November 2022.

Her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, released in November 2015, still seems to be Kylie’s most popular brand, with her recently announcing a new foundation featuring 40 different shades.

“Her products are sooooo good,” a fan commented on Kylie’s Instagram post, revealing the item’s January 17 release.

“Whoa Kylie you’re eating the girls up,” said another.
