After an ankle injury, Elizabeth went to the Viva Mayr Medical Health Resort by Lake Wörthersee. “I tore the ligaments in my left ankle whilst filming in the Caribbean in November. Lying on the sofa for two months, followed by a month of limping around in an air boot, meant that I basically became a slug,” she captioned some photos. “I don’t weigh myself but my jeans were objecting violently to being done up so something had to be done…Still not really able to put much pressure on my foot, meaning not much exercise, and a new movie looming, I decided to return to @vivamayrmariawoerth – a wellness spa in Austria. I’m here now and shall report back! ❤️”

“I think I’m glad to be here,” Hurley captioned an image of the food at the Viva Mayr Medical Health Resort, which appeared to be some cleanly steamed broccoli and carrots and a broth. “Besides being a good source of folate, broccoli also contains phytonutrients. Broccoli is also an excellent source of vitamin C — an antioxidant that protects your body’s cells from damage. It is also an excellent source of vitamin A and is linked to preserving eye health,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Elizabeth prefers local foods when at home. “Using local foods inspires me to prepare healthy, plant-based meals. I also feel good about supporting people in our community who make their living on the land. It’s a win-win,” Jennifer Nelson, RDN, LD, tells the Mayo Clinic.

Hurley would rather work up a sweat scrubbing a mirror or raking leaves than be stuck in some windowless gym. Chores actually can count as a workout. “Housework can do double duty if you can get your heart rate up. Mowing, shoveling and gardening count too,” says the Mayo Clinic. Or walk. “Stroll around your neighborhood or through the mall. Park at the back of the parking lot. Choose the stairs.”
