One Elden Ring player shows how easy the game will be after starting a second playthrough of FromSoftware’s rather difficult title.

Elden Ring has proven to be quite the difficult title. The FromSoftware game holds back no punches, sending players to their death countless times. However, it seems things get a bit easier during a second playthrough of Elden Ring, as one player demonstrates during one of the game’s boss battles.

Some players are finding easy ways to dispatch of Elden Ring’s enemies. A user by the handle YMabDaroganCont shows themselves defeat the optional boss Night’s Cavalry quite easily. While fighting the boss, YMabDaroganCont falls off a bridge, but is saved when they land on the top surface of the archway. Night’s Cavalry tries to follow the player, jumping off the bridge to their death. As another player shows, this is not the only easy way to defeat a boss.

A Redditor by the name Pepel_castro shows themselves taking out Margit, the Fell Omen in one spell. The short clip shows Pepel_castro buff themselves before entering Margit’s domain, and then shooting off a single blast of the spell Comet Azur. The spell connects, taking down Margit in an instant. Margit is considered one of the harder bosses in the game, due to how early the enemy is fought. One player was so scared that they grinded to level 93 before taking the Elden Ring boss on.

Pepel_castro is getting mixed messages from those who have watched their clip. Some praise them for easily defeating Margit, with one commenter calling the clip “satisfying.” Players even ask how to get Comet Azur and the gear that Pepel_castro uses in the clip. However, others wonder how playing the game in such a manner is even fun, as taking the boss down in such a manner eliminates the “thrill.”

Similar to Pepel_castro, many players are finding ways to easily defeat the game’s bosses. On TikTok, @bearfromminecraft showed gamers what would happen if a character had 99 strength in Elden Ring. The video shows them taking on the Tree Sentinel boss, defeating the foe in two swings. It shows just how overpowered a player can be with a maxed out stat, easily taking out one of the game’s early bosses that is designed to make players struggle.

Players are also finding ways to defeat some of the harder enemies in Elden Ring easily. One of the more challenging enemies are the maneuverable flamethrowers. While they are difficult, a player by the name Quickmemer has discovered an easy way to defeat them. By performing a falling attack on them, players can issue a critical strike that kills the flamethrowers instantly. Though Elden Ring is being dubbed as an incredibly difficult title that kills players without mercy, gamers such as Pepel_castro and Quickmemer are showing that understanding how the game works can make things a bit easier.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
