Did Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Ex-Fiancé Play A Role In Her Divorce?

The drama surrounding Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s sudden separation from her husband is not cooling off anytime soon, with her ex-fiancé joining the narrative.

According to sources, the former convict’s estranged beau, Ryan Anderson, is convinced their marriage started going downhill after a suspicious call from her ex, Ken Urker — a calculated move from his perspective.

Ryan, per insiders, believes most of the issues in his marriage to Gypsy began after Ken called her stepmother sometime in January. During their conversation, the media personality’s ex-fiancé allegedly wished to clarify why he left.

Ken reportedly told Gypsy’s stepmother, Kristy, that he didn’t break things off because of her newfound fame, as some sources had claimed. Instead, he left because he wanted to give his then-lover space to grow.

His words seemed to have impressed Kristy, who sources claimed had asked for Ken’s relationship status, and he confirmed he wasn’t married. However, Gypsy’s ex-fiancé clarified that he wasn’t trying to reunite with her or break up her marriage to Ryan.

Well, that is all BS in Ryan’s book, as he suspected Ken only made the call to reinsert himself into Gypsy’s life. Insiders told TMZ that he firmly believes his estranged wife’s ex was the reason behind their separation, given the suspicious situation.

Ryan’s suspicions about Ken’s alleged attempt to reinsert himself into Gypsy’s life were further ignited following a bold move. According to sources, the dynamic between the now-estranged couple changed after Ken gave Gypsy’s stepmom a ring. 

Insiders stressed that Ryan is upset with Ken’s involvement in Gypsy’s life, noting that it all seemed calculated, especially after the former lovers reunited following the end of his marriage.

With Ryan out of the picture, Ken and Gypsy immediately cozied up to each other and proudly flaunted couple vibes despite claiming there was nothing romantic between them.

The pair were spotted enjoying the weekend in New Orleans and even got matching tattoos. They have also been seen holding hands and looking like lovers — touching outings that have only fuelled Ryan’s suspicions about them.

While Ryan suspects Ken played a significant part in his separation from Gypsy, his estranged wife shared a different story. As reported by The Blast, the former couple had a heated argument before parting ways.

The pair, per sources, clashed over Ryan’s habit of hoarding food — something that allegedly unsettled Gypsy as it reminded her of her late mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

The tensions over Ryan’s food-hoarding tendencies reached a boiling point when Gypsy cleared out a refrigerator filled with expired food. She did this in her estranged husband’s absence, and he vehemently reacted upon discovering the empty refrigerator.

This led to the heated argument that sources claimed left Gypsy shaken and alarmed by Ryan’s temper. Her friend, Nadiya Vizier, echoed similar sentiments about the fight and noted the former convict had locked herself in the bathroom.

According to Gypsy’s friend, she was terrified by Ryan’s heated outburst over the emptied refrigerator. “He got in her face and screamed. Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her,” Nadiya recounted, adding:

“He didn’t — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared. But she got to safety and called her lawyer, too.”

The following morning, Gypsy reportedly grabbed her things and left the turmoil of her short-lived marriage for her father’s home in Cut Off, Louisiana. Meanwhile, Ryan reacted to their separation with a social media cleanse.

Earlier in April, The Blast confirmed that Ryan had erased every proof of his marriage to Gypsy from his social media page. He deleted all the pictures and posts that featured his estranged wife, leaving only snaps of him and his dog, Trixie.

Ryan also unfollowed Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s new private account on Instagram. This social media cleanse came at the heels of their separation announcement, which his estranged wife shared via a lengthy statement.

“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou,” Gypsy wrote, adding:

“I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now, I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
