There have been thousands of unexplained sightings of UFOs over the years.
The History Channel claims that the first UFO sighting in the United States may have occurred in 1639 in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Unfortunately, due to the stigma attached to claiming to have seen a UFO in the past, many of these sightings have gone unreported.
That is now finally starting to change as more and more people, especially those with ties to the government as well as some celebrities like Aaron Rodgers, Tom Delonge, Pat McAfee, and several others, are willing to admit what they have witnessed.
Another one of those famous people now willing to step forward with their tale of an encounter with a UFO is legendary actor Dan Akroyd of Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters fame.
Akroyd, however, has more than one story to share. He claims to have had four separate encounters with a UFO.
“The most spectacular one that I saw was bout 50 feet away from me and on the 23rd floor of a hotel in Montreal,” he told Fox & Friends.
“There were no lights at all, it was just a big, grey object that looked like a Macy’s Day Parade balloon.”
Akroyd continued, explaining, “We looked out the window, and there was this big grey object, 100 feet long, 50 feet high, with what looks like a bunch of grapes underneath it, you know?”
He and a friend who also witnessed the UFO vanish.
“It just sat there, and we got a good look at it for about a minute and a half and then it kind of turned slowly, no sound, and it just drifted off,” Akroyd continued.
“We ran into the hall and saw it drift into the St. Lawrence River.”
For anyone doubting him, he says they shouldn’t.
“Now that thing was not a helicopter, was not any kind of aircraft, it was right there present, right in front of us,” Dan Aykroyd claimed.
“Whether it was occupied or not, who was operating it, I don’t know, I can’t say that.
“But I know what I saw and I know I had a witness with me, and I know that was a vivid, vivid sighting.”
