The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosted its annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon on Monday at the Beverly Hilton.
A majority of this year’s nominees attended the event, the last chance they have to be together in a relaxed setting before the 96th Oscars next month. The group mingled and dined, and posed for the Academy’s annual class photo filling risers in the Hilton’s ballroom.

Today’s loaded guest list on the actor and director side alone included the likes of Sterling K. Brown, Emma Stone, Paul Giamatti, Steven Spielberg, Lily Gladstone, Celine Song, Cord Jefferson, Margot Robbie, Jeffrey Wright, Annette Bening, Colman Domingo, Ava DuVernay, Billie Eilish, Sandra Hüller, Bradley Cooper, Emily Blunt, Greta Gerwig, Cillian Murphy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Christine Vachon, Ryan Gosling, Robert Downey Jr and more.
It made for some memorable moments, like when Oppenheimer‘s Christopher Nolan and Killers of the Flower Moon‘s Martin Scorsese exchanged handshakes on the risers with Gladstone sitting between them.
Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon have a total of 23 Oscar nominations between them.
The 96th Oscars are set for Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and airing live on ABC.
