The delighted star took to her Instagram story to post a promotional clip announcing that she would be performing at the Disneyland venue of the ceremony. The “Can’t Leave ’em Alone” singer noted in the caption written below that she would be co-hosting and performing a medley of “Better Thangs and Jump for the first time on @rockineve!!!✨.”

The mother-of-three added, “December 31st at 8/7c on @abcnetwork 🎊🍾 #RockinEve.” Due to how big the gathering usually is, it will hold at not one but four different locations: California’s Disneyland Resort, New York City’s Times Square, and Los Angeles and New Orleans.

The star-studded list for the 2023 annual television program includes Dove Cameron, Tomorrow x Together (aka TXT), Aly & AJ, Halle Bailey, Bailey Zimmerman, Armani White, Ben Platt, Billy Porter, Betty Who, Finneas, Nicky Youre, Fitz and The Tantrums, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Shaggy, Maddie & Tae and Wiz Khalifa.

The many locations would also require several hosts for the other festivities, with Ryan Seacrest returning as the primary host of the program’s Times Square activities. Other hosts are alongside Liza Koshy and Jessie James Decker, whose duty will be to reveal the New Year’s Eve Powerball winner.

Celebrity DJ D-Nice will return this year after deejaying at the last year’s show to host the Los Angeles part of the occasion. The “Kinky Boots” actor will host the New Orleans section while performing a medley of his own hit songs.

PEOPLE also shared the musical itinerary for the show: Bailey with her single “Cool People” and a cover of Janet Jackson’s “Together Again,” Fitz and The Tantrums with “Sway” and “HandClap.”

In another part, Shaggy (alongside Jamaican artist Olaf Blackwood) will perform “Boombastic” and “Angel,” Platt with “Imagine,” as well as a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way” as a duet with Aly & AJ.

Zimmerman will serenade with “Fall In Love” and “Rock and a Hard Place,” Maddie & Tae with “Bathroom Floor” and “Every Night Every Morning,” TXT with “Good Boy Gone Bad” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” featuring Seori, and Spencer-Smith with “Fingers Crossed” and “Flowers.”

‘1, 2 Step’ Singer Shows Musical Prowess In Interesting Challenge

The “Mama, I Want to Sing!” actress proved that there was a reason she is highly rated in the industry in a fun video with her beau Russel Wilson. The Blast shared that the hit-making star challenged herself to sing while standing in an aviary.

The award-winning star dressed casually in the video in a shirt with bright colors over a pair of black shorts. She paired the look with dark shades, black and white converse shoes, and a lot of bangles on both wrists.

Several birds flew and perched on her head and shoulders while a parrot rested on her wrist as Russell cheered and encouraged her in the background. While worried that they were on her hair, he teased her, saying:

“They may get that hair y’all,” which led the songwriter to challenge herself to sing her new single, featuring Summer Walker, “Better Thangs.”

“Better things, better things/All new everything/Better things, better things,” she began in a shaky voice. While at it, she was told by the person in charge and the NFL player to relax her shoulders as she was too tense.

The “All you’ve got” actress captioned the post, “Try singing a song you love in an awkward position. As long as these birds don’t take my lace” 😂 🥰😎”
