During the eight-episode run, Chelsea, 32, and her husband Cole DeBoer, 35, return to take on new home transformations with their bold designs.

During the second season premiere, the Down Home Fab hosts encounter a widower with three young children as he asks for their help to “renovate his family home into a warm and refreshed space.”

The husband/wife duo put together “a rustic industrial-inspired overhaul while honoring the memories of his late wife.”

“To make sure the kids feel right at home, they also design a revamped play space and themed bedrooms.”

While juggling new clients and construction projects, the show will also spotlight the pair as they raise their four kids on their farm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Chelsea and Cole share three biological children: Watson, Layne, and Walker.

She also shares a daughter, Aubree Lind-DeBoer, with her ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind.

THE REVIEWS

Although the show was renewed for a second season, critics were not impressed with the stars and demanded them fired.

“It was actually embarrassing how bad this went. They have zero sense of style- the house looked awful when they were done with it,” one critic raged.

“It looks horrible! Also, Chelsea kept saying the room was too dark, then proceeded to put down dark floors and paint the walls and ceilings dark green,” a second critic ranted.

“The whole design seemed to hang together except for that horrendous fireplace. Maybe it was different in person, but it seemed like a gigantic white-ish blob amidst earth tones and black. Just awful. Also, would’ve 100% left the ceiling unpainted,” a third critic blasted.

However, the social media criticism does not seem to bother the Teen Mom alum.

In mid-January, Chelsea shared a brief clip of herself watching an episode of Down Home Fab.

The former MTV star then zoomed into a preview at the bottom corner of the screen.

The Instagram Story revealed that the second season will premiere in March.

Season 2 of Down Home Fab returns to HGTV on Thursday, March 21.

FAMILY REUNION

Meanwhile, the MTV mom reunited with her rarely-seen sister-in-law during a trip to Los Angeles.

On Thursday, Chelsea and Cole shared a snapshot as they stood next to Colleen, the wife of Cole’s older brother, Brock, who largely stays out of the spotlight.

Colleen wrote: “Quick lunch date in LA,” and added a smiley face with a cowboy hat emoji and two heart emojis.
