Chelsea Houska in Bathing Suit Enjoys "Day 1" — Celebwell

Chelsea Houska is steaming up the beach in her swimsuit. The Teen Mom alum shows off her incredibly fit figure in a bathing suit in a few of her latest social media photos, taken while on vacation with her family. “Day 1,” she captioned one of them. Chelsea once revealed on social media that she does “3 days of Crossfit” per week. CrossFit is a form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that focuses on improving strength, endurance, and body composition. However, it can result in injury if not done properly. The involvement of well-educated coaches decreases the injury rate.

She also does two days of kickboxing. “This kind of boxing has many health benefits because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture,” physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital tells Harvard Health.”You’re swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you’re in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you’re strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs.”

Chelsea makes sure to get her cardio in. One way is by taking walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Chelsea also enjoys golfing. “It’s all in the hips,” she captioned a set of photos of herself decked out in Alo Yoga gear on the course. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf’s health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

Chelsea makes sure she is eating the right portion sizes. Not only does she meal prep, but also enjoys meal delivery services on occasion. She appreciates the convenience of “freshly made meals,” she said.!” They are quick and easy and keep me on track for my goals .
