Brooke Burke Shows Off Her Fab Figure in Hot Pink Yoga Pants and a Black Sports Bra — Celebwell

Brooke Burke has been a regular fixture on TV for years and proves that healthy lifestyle choices pay off. The 52-year-old famously hosted E’s! Wild On series over 20 years ago and hasn’t aged. Burke looked amazing in a recent video posted of her wearing hot pink workout pants and a black sports bra and shared fun clips from her weekend. “Weekend recap,” she wrote. “BOOTY BURN next level & cheating just a little road-trip to the #emfest so much fun teaching class on the beach! A day of beauty, wellness & body sculpting. 10k squats!” The mom of four teaches fitness classes, hosts yoga retreats, and has her own app, Brooke Burke Body. The former Dancing With the Stars co-host attributes her eating habits and wellness journey to defying age and we take closer at her diet and workout regime.

Burke follows the 16:8 intermittent fasting practice She fasts for 16 hours a day and told Sports Illustrated how much it’s worked for her. “I’ve been intermittent fasting for years and it’s been a game-changer for me, not only digestively, but it’s also the most convenient way of living I’ve experienced,” She told Women’s Health. “I make it very simple and basically eat in an eight-hour window.”

Burke follows what’s considered to be the healthiest diet in the world according to U.S. News & World Report–the Mediterranean diet. She told SI, “I like to follow a Mediterranean-inspired diet with lean meats, fish, and lots of vegetables. My daily diet is rich in olive oil, avocados, olives, macadamia nuts, and a morning smoothie packed with good fat and collagen proteins.”

Another way Burke stays healthy and youthful is by staying hydrated. “I drink a lot of water, a lot of green tea, and a lot of lemon water; no sugary drinks,” she told Women’s Health. “I probably drink my body weight in water every day.”

Quality sleep is a vital part of our overall well-being and weight goals. Burke told SI, “Get your Zs. A good night’s sleep reduces stress, improves metabolism, and gives you the energy to live a vigorous and healthy life.”

Burke isn’t typically a big snacker, but if she does need something to munch on, she’ll have nuts. “I probably eat two meals a day and I’ll only snack if I need it,” she told Women’s Health. “I’ll do raw macadamia nuts or almonds—and walnuts are really good,” she said. “I also just discovered that Brazilian nuts are very anti-inflammatory, so those are great, too.”

While Burke lives a healthy lifestyle, she didn’t always know how to make the best nutritional choices. “In my 20s, I did not know how to fuel and feed my body,” she told SI. “I spent too much time weighing food, working my body for endless hours in the gym, and making sacrifices that were not enjoyable. I wish I would’ve known about good fats. And how to fuel my brain and body with mindful nutrition. I have more delicious food freedom today.”

Burke also shared with Si that she doesn’t need to spend hours in the gym because she’s learned how to tone up with certain moves. “I spend less time sculpting my body now than I did in my 20s because I know how to target, tone, use compound moves, and hit all the trouble areas to get the most out of a shorter workout,” she said. “For example, the booty burn on Brooke Burke Body is designed for the female body to tone, lift and sculpt the glutes.”
