Bring Me The Horizon's 'Parasite Eve' Now Certified Silver In UK

Bring Me’s spine-tingling 2020 track has hit a milestone in the UK.

Two years ago, Bring Me The Horizon kicked off their ‘POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR’ saga with a bang in the form of ‘Parasite Eve’, a song that perfectly embodied the thoughts and feelings of a world going through something unprecedented.

And now, it has reached a big old milestone.

According to BPI, the song is officially certified Silver, which is the equivalent of 200,000 sales. That’s big.

‘POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR’ is also certified Silver in its own right as well, which for albums is the equivalent of 60,000 sales.

The band have a whole host of other tracks at the Silver level as well, including ‘Sleepwalking’, ‘True Friends’, ‘Shadow Moses’, ‘Mantra’, ‘Happy Song’, ‘Drown’ and ‘Follow You’, so it is in really good company.

The track has been streamed 126 million times on Spotify, and the dark video has been watched 39 million times.

Here is that very video:

The band’s latest single is ‘Strangers’ and sounds an awful lot like this:
