Ben Affleck’s popular DunKings Super Bowl commercial just got even better as Dunkin’ has now released a 4-minute long extended cut.

In case you missed it on Sunday, in the commercial Ben Affleck decides that he now wants to showcase his musical stylings in addition to his already impressive acting chops.

Here’s the official description: “After leaving fans on a major cliffhanger, Dunkin’s Super Bowl LVIII commercial opened in a quintessentially full-circle moment. Ben surprises J.Lo by dramatically crashing her recording session in the studio. Accompanied by his star-studded boy band entourage decked out in outrageous Dunkin’ tracksuits — including two of Boston’s finest, Matt Damon and Tom Brady, The DunKings unveil their pop banger, ‘Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart,’ much to the amusement — and embarrassment — of J.Lo.”

And here’s what aired on Sunday during the Super Bowl…

Sensing that people would have questions after viewing the hilarious skit, Dunkin’ created the extended cut to show how he came to enlist Matt Damon and Tom Brady into his new boy band.

Along the way, we see Ben Affleck meeting with various famous names like competitive dancer turned social media personality Charli D’Amelio, and trying to convince Jennifer Lopez that he’s serious about this new venture.

“I had this crazy dream, you’re gonna laugh,” he tells her. “I had come up with some beats and some rhythms and you were like, ‘That’s dope I love that! That’s amazing! That’s like a whole new sound, maybe I should put that on the record. I even had a persona like J.Lo, or like B.Lo. That’s the bad version, obviously. Do you have some time today if I wanted to squeeze by [the studio]?”

Affleck then drops by a music studio to share his music on a CD with a music producer who was surprised that he had a CD with him.

“They tell you you’re no good, you’re a goofy, middle-aged, clumsy white guy with no rhythm and you can’t sing on key,” Affleck tells himself after his meeting with D’Amelio. “You’re not coordinated. That means I can’t be a pop star? Underestimate Boston, at your peril.”

That apparently isn’t the last we will hear from the DunKings in the Dunkin’ Cinematic Universe though. Affleck and crew’s full song “Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart!” will be released on Dunkin’s social media channels on Valentine’s Day, so stay tuned.

Sadly, Ben and company’s dope Dunkin’ tracksuits appear to be sold out.
