Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s apparently collapsing marriage has been making tons of headlines in recent weeks given both the high-profile nature of the couple and the multitude of reported issues that have led to this point.

As has long been in the case in Hollywood, alleged sources have been coming out of the woodwork for weeks to give quotes to tabloids, with the latest explaining to Entertainment Tonight that part of the reason Affleck wants a divorce is because Lopez is virtually impossible to please.

“Ben feels like Jen has a hard time feeling satisfied and that’s one of the issues they’re facing. Ben is one of the only people who feels comfortable enough to be honest and real with Jen. It’s part of why Jen loves him, but also why she’s upset with him,” the source told ET.

The specific type of satisfaction that Affleck reportedly feels Lopez is unable to obtain, however, is not clear.

While a divorce has yet to be officially filed by the couple, all signs point to that being the route they take, with Affleck reportedly no longer living in the $60 million Beverely Hills home that the couple purchased after getting married in the summer of 2022. Over the weekend, however, the pair were photographed together for the first time in over a month.

According to another source, the 51-year-old Academy Award-winning director feels that the last two years have been a “fever dream” and that if he could get the marriage voided on grounds of insanity, “he would.”

Affleck and J. Lo first began dating in 2002 and were in a relationship until their breakup in 2004. In 2021, the pair reunited following relationships with Ana de Armas and Alex Rodriguez, respectively, and got married in Las Vegas in July 2022.

One of Lopez’s upcoming movies is actually produced by Affleck’s company Artists Equity, as she’s playing the mother of champion 0ne-legged wrestler Anthony Robles in a film titled Unstoppable
