Rexha like many, works with a trainer to keep herself in shape. She talked about this in her Instagram story. “Good morning everybody. So CJ, my trainer is behind the camera. We’ve been working out for three months.” According to Ace Fitness, using a trainer can help with your confidence at the gym. “Working with a trainer allows you to become confident with how to perform exercises, use machines and navigate the facility. After a few sessions, you will feel ready to tackle the weight room on your own. Even better, an ego boost during exercise can promote stronger self-confidence and self-efficacy, which can help you stick with your exercise program over the long term.”

Rexha opened up about her weight loss on Instagram. She says that she wanted to lose weight naturally. “I lost, I don’t know—I don’t want to say, but a lot. And I want to show you what I actually look like because I feel like when I’m on stage it is not a proper—the angles and stuff, it’s crazy. It actually looks different. So I wanted to show you what I look like. I’m still a thick girl, let’s be real. But this is all calorie deficit, weight training, boxing, walking, all the above. No lipo, no Ozempic. Nothing wrong with that, but I wanted to do it the natural way for myself to prove myself. We’ve still got a ways to go, but I wanted to just to show you my progress.”

Rexha doesn’t skip leg day. In this video she posted on Instagram, she is seen doing back leg lifts. She captioned the post, “Pre Grammy Butt blaster with @kacyduke (Don’t mind the hole in my pants 😝).” Piedmont states that lower body workouts are extremely important. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. Boost your metabolism as you increase muscle mass. Give you a higher calorie burn as you train larger muscle groups.”

Rexha shared some of her skincare secrets in an interview with WhoWhatWear. In it, she talked about the importance of keeping her skin hydrated. “I’m always moisturizing. When I’m using my La Mer products properly, I’ll do the full four steps; The Treatment Lotion ($115), The Concentrate ($200) which is a serum, The Moisturizing Soft Cream ($95), and then I’ll do The Eye Concentrate Eye Cream ($235). I just love to saturate my skin with cream, and then I also like to throw a hair treatment on.

Rexha opened up about finding acceptance with her body to WhoWhatWear. “I have definitely gotten more comfortable in my skin. At one point, it was kind of unhealthy, and I really felt like my sense of self-worth was totally based on the way that I looked. So yeah, I’ve gotten more comfortable, and a little bit lazier, but like, if I want to eat a healthy meal or really take care of my skin, I do it from a place of love now. And hey, I’ve been eating chips and popcorn while we’ve been talking, and do I feel kinda meh about it? Yeah, but then I’m kind of just like, ‘[F] it. I wanted it, my body wanted it,’ and so I honored that. I just follow my heart.”
