Andy Cohen slams ‘insane’ Jen Shah as a ‘liar’ after she responds to Heather Gay’s claim RHOSLC alum gave her black eye

Bravo boss Andy Cohen slammed Jen Shah as a 'liar'

ANDY Cohen has slammed Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah after she hit back at Heather Gay’s black eye claims.

During the Bravo series’ Season 4 finale, the Beauty Lab and Laser co-founder confessed that her former friend allegedly punched her during a previous season.

After the episode aired, Jen, 50, addressed the accusation on her Instagram in the form of a quote posted to her Story from prison, where she’s serving a sentence for fraud.

She wrote: “BRAVO, if i punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it. It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4.

“Andy is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit down with someone who ‘gave’ another cast member a black eye? Next story.”

On SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, the 55-year-old Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host responded, clearly upset by Jen’s comments.

“As someone who was just the victim of an online and phone scam where I lost a lot of money, this message comes at an interesting time. So, let me just say that,” he began his angry diatribe.

“I just need to predicate that I am a current victim of fraud, which is what she is in jail for. I’m not connecting her to what I’m – I’m not saying that she’s responsible for it it, but I’m just saying that I happen to – I just have to point that out.”

He then moved on to her specific claims, saying: “I don’t want to be Captain Obvious here, but if we had footage, don’t you think we would have aired it? Do you think we wouldn’t have said, ‘Heather.’ Heather’s saying, ‘I don’t know how I got the black eye,’ and then don’t you think we would have cut to the footage with a Chiron that said ‘4 hours earlier’?”

Andy went on: “First of all, that’s quite obvious. Second of all, I had forgotten about the one-on-one with Jen. She is right, I did want to do a one-on-one with her. I don’t care about it anymore. I’m over it.”

The Bravo boss added that the star “wanted a lot of money and she was still professing her innocence, so it would have been another interview of her sitting across from me lying to my face which we got from her two reunions ago.”

SALT IN WOUNDS

The black eye bombshell wasn’t the only one shared during the latest episode of RHOSLC.

In the same episode, viewers learned that rookie cast member and former friend of Jen Monica Garcia had been quietly running a social media account called Reality Von Tease.

The Instagram account posts content about the RHOSLC ladies but focuses heavily on Jen.

It has more than 21,000 followers and two spin-off Instagram accounts.

The profile posted a number of satirical and unflattering rumors about Jen but also took aim at the rest of the RHOSLC cast.

Heather said of the fake Instagram: “We never knew who it was.

“It was dedicated to annihilating and exposing Jen Shah.

“But it quickly expanded to troll all of us. Me, Whitney, Meredith, Lisa. These were character assassinations.”

Meanwhile, Monica said of her being exposed: “I knew that this information would come out. Even Gossip Girl couldn’t stay Gossip Girl forever.

“I, more than anyone, know that nothing stays in the dark, and everything comes to light.”

Monica maintained, however, that she only used the account to comment on Jen.

“I didn’t say s**t about anyone else other than Jen and I will own that to the grave,” Monica said on the show after confirming that she was involved with the account.

“Von Tease was never just one person. It wasn’t just me.

“There were several other humans involved but bottom line, our mission was to take down Jen, the other ones were just collateral damage.”

MONICA MANIA

Although it was only her first season, Monica created quite a stir on RHOSLC.

She was involved in several nasty feuds on the show but it was her other antics that got critics talking.

Monica was sued by Heather’s business for not paying off an alleged $2,000 debt.

She filed a countersuit claiming that she was “obsessed” with Heather before she was “botched” by Beauty Lab and Laser.

In November 2023, Beauty Lab filed a motion for summary judgment in an attempt to expedite the case.

They also filed a motion to dismiss Monica’s counterclaim.

Court documents obtained exclusively by The U.S. Sun show the Beauty Lab argued that Monica failed to produce any evidence proving that the company’s services were “defective or negligent” of that she received any treatment from another company to “fix the damage.”

In the filing, the Salt Lake City, Utah, medical spa shared screenshots of Monica complimenting and praising the company for the services from December 2019 to May 2020.

The screenshots featured Instagram messages between Monica and a licensed physician assistant named Regan Brooks, who performed the services on the mom of four.

Monica “constantly and openly raved about how good the services actually were,” Heather’s company claimed.

Another screenshot featured a video message from Monica from December 2019, in which she flaunted her full lips and stated: “OB-SESSED!! You’re amaze.”

Later that same month, she sent a photo of her face to Regan and wrote: “I mean…. So good.”

In another message, Monica expressed her disappointment about having to reschedule an appointment until after the new year, saying that she was “sad.”

After that, she wrote to Regan in January 2020, saying: “Had so many people message me after this pic about wanting to get lips with you now.”

Months later, in May 2020, Monica messaged Regan again: “Can’t wait to come see you again!!!!”

Beauty Lab is still holding Monica accountable for the $2,000 payment for services that she allegedly owes them, plus pre and post-judgment interests, costs, and attorney’s fees.

In November 2023, the company also filed a motion to dismiss Monica’s counterclaim on two separate grounds.

The filing stated: “First, the Utah Health Care Malpractice Act, which governs [Monica’s] claims, imposes a two-year statute of limitations on all malpractice actions against a health care provider.”

Monica was seen on or around October 10, 2019 and January 6, 2020.

Beauty Lab noted that Monica did not initiate her claim until September 2023, which was her initial counterclaim before she amended it.

The medspa went on: “Consequently, [Monica’s] claims against BLL are time-barred by the Act’s statute of limitations and should be dismissed with prejudice.”

They also claim that the Court “lacks subject matter jurisdiction,” meaning she “did not obtain a Certificate of Compliance or follow any of the prelitigation requirements set forth in the Act prior to filing this lawsuit.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Monica’s attorney for comment.
