When Jennifer Lopez exchanged vows with her first husband, it’s unlikely she imagined spending her life getting married and divorced multiple times. For nearly 11 months of her life, she was married to her first husband. Ojani Noa was a man who worked in a restaurant when they met. She was in Miami working on a movie. We don’t know much about their wedding because she was only around 28. Despite already being an actress, she hadn’t yet starred in the hit movie “Selena,” which would take her from unknown actress to superstar. Their marriage was a quick one, though. They divorced in February of 1998.
Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd 2001-2003
JLo’s marriages did not make headlines until this one. She was married to Cris Judd for only nine months. They wed in September of 2001, and they divorced in June 2002. Of all of JLo’s marriages, this one made headlines because she was the most famous actress and singer in America then, and she was recently out of a relationship with none other than Sean Combs (Known then as Puff Daddy or Diddy). Their relationship was much more public and significant, and they seemed to be the most famous couple in the world. They dated from 1999 until 2001, and fans were shocked when they broke up in early 2001 and then married her backup dancer shortly after.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony 2004-2014
If JLo’s marriages from earlier shocked anyone, perhaps this one shocked the world the most. Marc Anthony is one of the world’s most famous Latin singers. However, that is not what shocked the world. What shocked the world was that she married him only five months after ending her years-long engagement with Ben Affleck. She and Ben Affleck began dating shortly after her marriage to Cris Judd ended, and they were engaged. Bennifer was born, and the world never met a better couple. When they called off their engagement in January 2004, the world mourned. When she married Marc Anthony in June 2005, the world raised a collective brow. Was it a rebound?
These two made their marriage work for a decade, however. They also welcomed their twins, Max and Emme, in 2008. She’s since called their marriage rocky and as a band-aid. The world always suspected that Ben Affleck was her one true love, but he couldn’t handle the media and the press during their first engagement, and things did not work out. What does a woman do when her heart is broken? She makes rash decisions and gets married to someone else five months later. Not that we think this marriage was a mistake at all – Jlo’s marriages all happened for a reason. This marriage gave her two beautiful babies and a lovely friendship with her ex-husband. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 2022
It was November 2002 when Ben Affleck asked Jennifer Lopez to be his wife. They were to wed in September of 2003, but they postponed their wedding due to the press and media attention. The world was horrified when they called off their engagement in January 2004 and went their separate ways. They were perfect together, and everyone thought they’d get back together. By 2005, she’d been married a year, he was married to Jennifer Garner and expecting a baby, and the world reconciled that Bennifer was no more. They had their chance, and it did not work out.
JLo’s marriages ended, but she was willing to try again. She became engaged to famous baseball player Alex Rodriguez in 2019, and everything seemed well. When the couple announced they’d ended their engagement in April 2021, fans were shocked, but not entirely. The press was filled with cheating rumors, and she acknowledged her suspicions. However, the end of that romance barely registered with fans as JLo and Ben Affleck were reportedly seen out and about together the same month.
Could it be? Was it true? It wasn’t until April 2022 that the world was certain it was true. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez announced they were engaged. He’d asked her 20 years before to be his wife, and she said yes. This time, they made it work, and the couple got married in July 2022. Is the fourth time the charm?
