The beloved Spice Girls member, 48, told Jennifer, 42, that in AGT’s new spinoff series, AGT: Fantasy League, she has to sit directly next to her boss Simon, 64.

Scary Spice acknowledged her love for Simon before divulging that it was annoying to work with him.

“He [Simon] is like that annoying brother that keeps talking and talking. It’s like, ‘Oh my God, Simon, just shut up,'” the singer confessed.

“‘I know you’re my boss but shut up,’ he’s like a child,” she continued.

Mel B and Simon worked together on the original AGT series as co-judges from Season 8 to Season 13.

They’re now back together again to host AGT: Fantasy League with the program’s other primary judges, Heidi Klum, 50, and Howie Mandel, 68.

Additionally, 40 previous contestants from AGT have returned for the franchise’s Fantasy League spinoff.

Like the show’s main incarnation, the winner earns a cash prize for finishing first place.

WHAT’S IN STORE

The first-place winner of AGT: Fantasy League is awarded a $250,000 grand prize.

Like AGT’s main show, the program’s voters choose Fantasy League’s champion.

Voting is available through NBC’s official website, as well as the AGT app for Android and Apple.

Fantasy League’s grand prize is a quarter of what the AGT winners get.

AGT’s champion is awarded $1 million over 40 years, which equals a yearly $25,000.

KEY DIFFERENCES

Compared to AGT’s main run, the four Fantasy League judges are more involved with the show’s competitive process.

Each of the judges is allowed to choose which of the returning contestants they get to mentor as part of their Dream Team.

Throughout the audition process, Simon, Mel B, Howie, and Heidi get to select 10 competitors for their Dream Team.

The difference in the program’s process is meant to emulate sports fantasy league drafting.

AGT’s famous Golden Buzzer also makes its return in Fantasy League.

However, the Golden Buzzer is back with a twist; the judges can now use it to steal a performer from another judge’s roster.

“I’m really annoyed about that,” Simon admitted about the buzzer’s twist.

He told Parade: “We really did mentor the acts. It is one thing judging acts, we can all judge acts.

“It’s another thing rolling your sleeves up and actually making decisions that are going to make a difference.

“I didn’t find it funny. I tell you why, because I really didn’t think anybody would take my acts, but they did.”

While referring to his fellow panelists, Simon added: “I lost two acts and I was absolutely gobsmacked…like, ‘Why would you do that?’

“Even though that was part of the show, you’ve got to give the Golden Buzzer to your own act, but they stole my acts.

“So, I was really, really upset. I still am, actually.”
