The last few years have been nothing short of a whirlwind for Eric Graise. He got a huge opportunity when he was cast in the TV series Step Up: High Water, an offshoot of the Step Up film franchise. Although the series lasted for just two seasons, it helped introduce Eric to a wide audience which ultimately helped open more doors for him. As a result, Eric was able to keep the ball rolling. At the moment, he is probably best known for his roles in shows like Locke & Key and the reboot of Queer as Folk.  Eric is a natural star, and I think it’s safe to say that he is going to be a fixture on our screens for many years to come. 1. He Is From Georgia

Eric Graise was born and raised in Georgia, not far from Atlanta. He was raised by a single mother as well as a community of other people who have always shown him love and support. He credits his family with being instrumental in his ability to chase his dreams and the success he’s achieved.

2. His Legs Were Amputated When He Was A Child

Being in a wheelchair is probably the first thing people notice about Eric and many people are curious about the circumstances that brought him there. According to Mixed Article, Eric had his legs amputated as a toddler because he was missing fibula bones.

3. He Is a Writer and Director

Most people are familiar with Eric for the work he’s done in front of the camera. Little do they know, he can also put on a great show from behind the scenes. In 2018, he made his debut as a writer and director with a short film called Limited Space. It seems likely that we’ll see him do more writing and directing in the future.

4. He’s a Formally Trained Actor

Eric Graise is definitely a natural when it comes to acting, but that isn’t the only thing that has helped him get where he is today. He has also put lots of time and effort into studying his craft. Eric attended the University of West Georgia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in theater.

5. Eric Graise Loves to Dance

Even though Eric is most commonly referred to as an actor, the truth is that he is an overall performer. In addition to his on-screen work, Eric is also a talented dancer who loves expressing himself through movement. Prior to his acting career taking off, he was part of a professional dance group.

6. He Was in The Walking Dead

At this point in his career, Eric has less than a dozen acting credits on his resume. However, among those credits are some pretty awesome projects. Between 2011 and 2016, he appeared in two episodes of The Walking Dead. Although both appearances were uncredited, he will always be able to say he was part of the legendary series.

7. He Is Always Wanted to Be a Performer

Figuring out what to do in life is a big challenge for lots of people. However, that wasn’t the case for Eric. For as long as he can remember, he’s always wanted to perform. However, he initially thought that his future would be in music because he always loved to sing.

8. He’s Done Some Modeling

If you’ve ever seen Eric do his thing, you know that he truly is meant to be in front of a camera. That being said, it probably isn’t too surprising that he’s also gotten to do some modeling. A couple of years ago, he was part of a campaign for Tommy Hilfiger for a spring collection in the brand’s adaptive line.

9. Eric Graise Likes Giving Back to Others

Eric definitely isn’t the kind of person who plans to forget where he came from as his star continues to rise. In fact, he actually plans on using his platform to help others as much as he can. Eric has supported several causes, including animal rights, fighting poverty, and education.

As you can probably tell by now, self-expression is essential to Eric, and the performing arts aren’t the only way he likes to express himself. Eric also has a good eye for fashion and loves getting creative with his clothing. He isn’t afraid to take risks with bold patterns and bright colors and has proven that he can pull off any look.
