In a photo, Lindsey held her tank top up and revealed her bare chest.

She had a big bruise on her side and a bandaid which covered a wound.

Lindsay stood in her bathroom and posed for the camera.

“CW: Cancer So- January has been a b***h. In addition to the whole world being up in flames, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she captioned the post.

“I have been in limbo without a real diagnosis until today and just wanna put it all out there. I have invasive ductal carcinoma, the most common form of breast cancer.

“The stage is not yet determined, but it’s aggressive. I will get my treatment plan on the first of February, including but probably not limited to surgery,” she continued.

“This is uncharted waters for me and no doubt a long, expensive, scary road ahead. I’m trying to stay positive (which is not my strongest suit.)

“But I am infinitely grateful to be where I am, surrounded by my mom, my cats, in a safe loving space with an excellent support group of friends and co-workers. Ready or not, I’m gonna put up a fight,” Lindsay concluded.

Lindsay uploaded a video on Thursday to update fans on her progress with her treatment plan.

“I just wanted to make a video even though it feels a little awkward,” she told the camera.

EMOTIONAL MOMENT

“This has been a really weird time, ever since I was diagnosed I’ve been floating in this fantasy world where it wasn’t really real but now it’s becoming real.

“Tomorrow is the surgery, the beginning of the treatment and I wanted to explain a little bit about what’s been going on,” she continued.

“I’m having a Lumpectomy, I’m not having a mastectomy, I’m really lucky because I caught it early enough.”

Lindsey then explained that she was offered a breast lift and reduction during the process, which she wanted for years due to back pain.

“It’s going to be a major surgery, it will take five plus hours,” she explained.

“I’m not working for a month to six weeks.

“I’m going to be really isolated for a while, which will be really hard emotionally and physically,” Lindsey said while holding back tears.

TOUGH RECOVERY

She then said she would be having a month to six weeks of radiation after her procedure.

Lindsay thanked her fans for donating to her Go Fund Me page, which her mom set up.

She apologized for not being able to thank everyone individually and said she would not have been able to afford her procedure without the help of her fans.

“A video explanation of things to come- and a HUGE thank you to those who donated to my GoFundMe and the friends and family who have been so emotionally supportive on the journey so far,” she captioned the post.

“If you feel capable donating or comfortable sharing my fundraiser, there’s a link in my bio.”

GIFT OF LOVE

Fans flooded the comments with admiration and messages of support for Lindsay and her family.

“Sending all the best your way and to the doctors carrying out the procedure to help heal you,” wrote a fan.

“Sending all the positive energy your way. Hoping for a successful surgery and quick recovery,” added another.

“Good vibes your way dude. You got it!!!!!” Said a third.

Fellow actress Lindsey Haun also made a video on her on Instagram page and encouraged fans to donate to her Just Giving page.

The fundraising page currently has $22,625 of a wanted $75,000.

“I hate asking for help, but sometimes you just gotta. If you can’t afford to give anything, feel free to share. Much love to you all,” wrote Lindsay’s mom to her followers.
