Malika Haqq in Bathing Suit Says "Imma Keep That Same Energy" — Celebwell

TV personality and actor Malika Haqq has carved out a life for herself after stepping away from appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians by virtue of her lifelong friendship with Khloe Kardashian, which continues. Haqq has her hands full raising son Ace, who was born in March 2020; developing projects with her twin sister, Khadijah; and refocusing on her own acting career. She is also taking time for self care, as in this Instagram pic of herself in a bathing suit in a pool with the caption, “Imma keep that same energy.” Read on to see how Malika Haqq stays in shape and the photos that prove they work. Haqq keeps those connections strong, as in this first-day-of-school brunch hosted by Khadijah with the help of Khloe. “Becoming a mother is a journey supported by a village and WE have your back @malika Ace’s 1st day of school was a celebration for us all,” Khadija posted.

Haqq maintains friendly relations with Ace’s father and her ex, O.T. Genasis, for the benefit of their son. “Relationships don’t always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon,” Haqq said on Instagram before Ace’s birth. “I’ve been single the last 8 months but I am in no way alone. OT and I have attended every doctors apt and overall loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival. My priority over the past few months has been to nurture and protect my unborn child.”

After she gave birth to Ace, Haqq worked to drop the pregnancy weight by eating healthy. “Overall, I’m eating cleaner than ever now, because I had almost a year of learning to eat well during pregnancy,” she told US magazine.

But she approached things realistically. “We spend nearly 10 months being pregnant, and it’s OK to take 10 months to get back to the best you,” she said.

“Before I have my coffee or tea, I get a head start on drinking water first thing in the morning,” she said. “This has helped boost my hydration and digestion, keeping me balanced throughout the day.” Drinking water also helps curb her appetite, she said.

Haqq tries to break a sweat “three to four times per week” and even gets Ace involved, she said. “Cardio has definitely been essential to getting stubborn weight off,” she said. “Fresh air is always helpful with putting a baby to sleep and also keeping mommy awake … walk, walk, walk!”
