But one Duggar couple has been keeping incredibly quiet, so quiet that no one has actually seen them since last year! Josiah and Lauren Duggar have been silent on social media for a while now, and they just deleted all photos of their daughter from Instagram.
Fans thought they might be going through a rough patch, but now they’re wondering if it’s to keep the lives of their children away from prying eyes.

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson stopped posting on social media in 2021, but recently they deleted everything on their account that was shared after February 2020. The first post on their account is an anniversary post from February 24, 2020.
“I can’t believe it’s been two years ago today that I asked Lauren to marry me… you can guess what she said,” the Instagram caption reads. “These years have been the best years I’ve had in my whole life. -Si.”
Fans were wondering if the whole family decided to go quiet, but Josiah was still spotted in photos and videos from the Duggar holiday celebrations.
Lauren, however, was nowhere to be seen. For a time of year that’s so focused on being with loved ones, fans found it hard to explain why Lauren wouldn’t be at Josiah’s side during the holidays. Unless, of course, they split up?
In a post on r/DuggarsSnark, one user noticed that Josiah was not wearing his wedding ring in a video shared by one of his siblings.
In the photo, Josiah is wearing a wig while playing foosball, but his left ring finger is missing a wedding band. Although some fans thought this meant trouble in paradise, others thought there could be other reasons.
Lauren was absent in the video, but one user noticed that Jessa (who took the video) was avoiding including her sister-in-law in the shots.
“Wow!! I’m almost certain that Jessa and Lauren have some sort of agreement as to not feature her or Bella in YouTube videos. I heard Lauren at the beginning but she was never once shown,” one Redditor commented.
“Yepp it was pretty clear to me she was avoiding getting Lauren in shots,” added another.
“Well jessa made a comment on one of her other videos that they have decided to live privately now so it’s nice to see someone in their family respecting boundaries,” a third agreed.
But what about the missing wedding band?
“To be fair, there could be a lot of reasons excluding trouble in paradise. My fingers swell all the time, more often than not my rings tend to sit on my desk at work,” one user commented. “When I’m not at work, my rings aren’t typically on. My husband wears his off and on. It’s never been an issue for us.”
Others noticed that Josiah may have gained some weight, which could mean that his ring was a bit too small to be worn. Some added that because he works in the construction business, wearing a ring isn’t something that is usually done while working and he simply could have forgotten to put it back on.
The couple has continued to keep a low profile, but now there are more rumors as to why. Some fans are convinced Lauren might be pregnant again, so she could be wanting to keep the happy news to herself.
