Calabasas is a TV series that Kim will executive produce and star in.

She will do so with Emma, Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King, and Tar’s Alexandra Milchan.

This comes after a “competitive bidding” war “that went through the week,” sources told Deadline.

Finally, Netflix struck a deal to develop Calabasas with the winning bid.

A release date is not yet announced, but Calabasas is based on the book, “If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now.”

Marlene King will be writing the adaption and serving as show runner.

The show will follow “A 16-year-old sheltered Midwestern Catholic school girl whose world is turned upside down when her family moves and she’s forced to transfer to the fast world of Calabasas High where nothing is as it appears and where everyone is trying to be someone else.

“It’s a place where dreams come true … but not without complications and sometimes unforeseen consequences,” according to Deadline.

KIM’S ACTING CV

Kim famously found reality TV fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and, currently, Hulu’s The Kardashians.

She also recently starred as a publicist in FX’s American Horror Story: Delicate and lent her voice to two Paw Patrol films.

She was also a knee-slapper on SNL back in 2022, winning over fans with a funny monologue full of self-aware jokes.

But she also had a few more surprising acting stints while finding superstardom.

Just a month before her reality TV era began, Kim had a steamy role in a Fall Out Boy music video that also starred a chimpanzee.

And perhaps most regrettably she starred in 2008’s Disaster Movie.

Years later, she confessed on the ABC game show Big Fan that she was “mortified” by the movie, and admitted she can’t even watch it.

As Deadline noted, she’s still done “limited work” as far as acting goes.
