Dune: Part Two, also known as Dune 2, is set to release this Friday and has already impressed the critics. It is reportedly one of the highest-rated second installments in the history of cinema. This Denis Villeneuve-helmed sci-fi saga has Timothee Chalamet in the lead and some other actors joining the ensemble cast.
The first film received multiple Oscars, and people waited with bated breaths for the second installment to come out. For the unversed, the movies are based on Frank Herberts’ work. The advance bookings of the movie have shown exceptional response, and the theatres have already added several shows in the upcoming weeks ahead of the film’s release. According to reports, Dune 2 is one of the highest-rated second installments in Rotten Tomatoes’ history. The film has opened to an impressive 97% rating on the Tomatometer. It is among the top five on the list, with Toy Story 2 leading with the highest scores. Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, and others are currently busy promoting the film, and recently, she and the Wonka star rocked a coordinated look and gave everyone fashion goals.

What do we know about Dune 3?
In an interview with Time, Denis Villeneuve revealed that he will not make any more movies in this franchise after Dune 3. Hence, fans, rest assured that another film in this series will happen. It is tentatively called Dune Messiah. He told Empire, “If I succeed in making a trilogy, that would be the dream.” But the fans would have to wait for that, but before that, they need to brace themselves to watch the magnum opus, Dune 2.
Dune 2, aka Dune: Part Two, is all set to hit the theatres on March 1.
