It’s a treat for the Ghostbusters lovers as the latest movie in that franchise will bring together the OG and new recruits. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire recently premiered in New York City, and the lead stars were all glammed up for the event. It was a star-studded affair from Paul Rudd to McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard and Bill Murray. The actors are all well-known faces of Hollywood and have received hefty paychecks for their parts.
For the unversed, it is the sequel to the 2021 movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The film is the fourth installment in the franchise. The first film came out in 1984, and the upcoming movie will celebrate the movie’s 40th anniversary. It premiered at the AMC 13 Theatre at the Lincoln Square in NYC on March 14. The film has yet to be released in US theatres.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire tells the story of the Spengler family’s return to the iconic New York City firehouse, where the original Ghostbusters have taken ghost-busting to the next level. When discovering an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, new and old Ghostbusters must unite to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age.

The Leftovers star has appeared in movies like Gone Girl, The Nest, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The actress has been allegedly paid $600K.
2. Finn Wolfhard as Trevor Spengler
The actor is known for his role as Mike in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. He has also appeared in It and It Chapter Two. He has been paid $450K.
3. Mckenna Grace as Phobe Spengler
Mckenna Grace has been working in the industry from a young age. She has seen movies like Gifted, I, Tonya, and Captain Marvel. Grace has been allegedly paid $320K for her part in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
4. Celeste O’Connor as Lucky Domingo
Celeste plays the role of Trevor’s friend and Sheriff Domingo’s daughter in the franchise. She recently appeared in the movie Madame Web. She has been paid $200K.
5. Dan Aykroyd as Dr. Raymond “Ray” Stantz
Dan Aykroyd, known for movies like Driving Miss Daisy, My Girl, Chaplin, and more, is reportedly getting $110K.
6. Ernie Hudson as Dr. Winston Zeddemore
Ernie Hudson, from the OG Ghostbusters, has reportedly received $250K for reprising his role in the latest movie.
7. Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz
Another OG Ghostbusters alum is returning to Frozen Empire and reportedly received $120K.
8. Pual Rudd as Gary Groobson
Paul Rudd is a famous personality in Hollywood, and his star value increased more after being cast as Ant-Man in the MCU. He has reportedly taken home more than everyone’s added salary. He has been paid a whopping $10 million.
Apart from them, Bill Murray and other actors will also appear in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, but their salaries have not yet been revealed.
The film will be released in the US on March 22.
