A new Saturday Night Live, aka SNL promo, has dropped. The celebrity guests hosting the upcoming episode are Josh Brolin and Ariana Grande, who are accompanied by Chloe Fineman. Currently, Josh is basking in the success of Dune 2. The Denis Villeneuve starrer has received immense praise and is doing wonders at the box office.
SNL is known for making fun of issues that celebrities usually won’t address in interviews. In the promo, Chloe tells Josh Brolin that she loved Dune 2. She tells him she heard a rumour that he was hooking up with a co-star.
The Avengers: Endgame actor answers, “No, I wrote a poem for Timothee, and it wasn’t anything more than that.” Ariana Grande clarifies that Chloe was talking about the sandworm in Dune 2. Josh quips, “Oh, who told you about that?” The promo shows the trio doing multiple takes to introduce themselves as the new SNL guests.

In every attempt, they say something weird to generate some laughs. In Take 2, Chloe says she loved Dune and the sand, caves, goggles and the big cow. Josh figures out that Chloe hasn’t really seen the movie. In Take 3, they again talk about how exciting the SNL episode will be. When Chloe expresses how the show will be fun, Ariana asks, “Yes,” to which Chloe answers, “Weekend updates and videos”.
Eventually, Chloe Fineman realises that Ariana Grande is talking about her new album, Eternal Sunshine. After learning that both Josh and Chloe weren’t really addressing her new album in their introduction speeches, she walks away by saying, “We can’t be friends. Imperfect for you (names of her songs in the album).

The camaraderie between the trio looks quite fun, and we can’t wait to watch the entire episode. Along with the rumours of “hooking up” with his Dune 2 co-star Timothee Chalamet, will Josh also talk about his stint in Marvel and the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie? Well, let’s hope that happens.
Meanwhile, Dune 2 also stars Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard, Austin Butler, Dave Bautista and Anya Taylor Joy (in a cameo appearance).
The new SNL episode airs on Saturday at 11:30 ET and 8 pm PT.
