The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) recently delivered bad news to fans who might be hoping to see more of her character. Chloe’s airtime is about as good as it’s going to get since Hendrickson isn’t on contract with the show.
While Hendrickson was waiting to catch a flight, she decided to hop on Instagram and answer some questions.
Hendrickson invited fans to ask her anything, so one viewer wondered why Chloe wasn’t on Y&R very often and wished she’d get a new story.
In response, Elizabeth Hendrickson expressed how sweet it was to be missed, but she also explained that her contract status was the problem.
“Unfortunately I’m not on contract anymore so they only work me when they write for Chloe,” Hendrickson said.
Hendrickson admitted she misses telling stories from Chloe’s point of view, but she’s got a positive outlook on the whole situation since she still gets to film occasionally.
“I had a good run tho and love that I still see my friends a few times a month,” Hendrickson added.
Since some viewers got confused after Hendrickson’s comments about not being on contract, she clarified that she was still on Y&R.
Hendrickson just isn’t guaranteed a certain number of episodes each week or month, so she only pops up when Chloe’s needed for specific scenes here and there.
For example, instead of leading a story like Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) doing with all her baby drama and love triangle messiness, Chloe just appears to offer support and give Sally advice.
Those are the kind of scenarios that non-contract players tend to be used for, so don’t expect Chloe to be front and center in some juicy storyline of her own.
Still, it’s nice to see Chloe whenever she makes appearances. It’s better than writing Chloe out entirely, so many Elizabeth Hendrickson fans will take what they can get!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe will continue to step up in the interior design business since Sally’s being forced to take it easy, so stay tuned for updates on their success.
