‘Merrily We Roll Along’ off Broadway tickets: See Daniel Radcliffe

'Merrily We Roll Along' off Broadway tickets: See Daniel Radcliffe

It’s not easy to come by tickets for the latest off-Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim’s “Merrily We Roll Along.”

Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, Lindsay Mendez and a who’s who of beloved stage veterans, “Merrily” quickly sold out all performances at the New York Theatre Workshop from its previews in November, opening on Dec. 12 all the way to its closing in January 2023.

Not bad for a show that flopped when it originally opened on Broadway in 1981.

Things have clearly changed though.

So, if you want to see Sondheim’s ahead-of-its-time musical recounting the troubled friendship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong comrades – writer Mary and lyricist/playwright Charley – there are a few ways to make it happen before the show closes on Jan. 24.

One could a) wait in the cancellation line before the show begins, b) apply for the CheapTix lottery or c) repeatedly check the venue’s site to see if anything changes.

Or d) you could purchase seats on the secondary market.

There’s just a few problems.

Tickets are only available for a handful of performances and they cost a pretty penny.

The lowest price we found on Vivid Seats was for the Dec. 9 performance.

At the time of publication, tickets start at $1447 before fees.

As “Merrily’s” Franklin Shepard says, “The worst vice in this world is advice, so I don’t give any” but, at the very least, this is an option.

Rather than leave you in the dark, we’ve listed all the best prices on tickets we could find for the 199-seat New York Theatre Workshop on Vivid Seats below.
