Hadid has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to keep things simple. “My mom never really gave me advice on, like, what to do with my skincare or makeup, but I definitely watched her enough to learn. She had a very simple, natural take on skincare. She didn’t overdo it with product, and I feel like I’ve taken that on, where I think less is more. Doing too much for my skin or beauty routine can make it more complicated, and sometimes my skin can’t handle it.”

Hadid has a busy schedule, but she always makes time for herself. She tells Vogue that this is extremely important for her, and advises others to do the same. “I would just say that we should all try to focus on taking time for ourselves,” says Hadid. “So just remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can, you’re doing amazing, and to just give yourself grace. And if you brushed your hair this week, I’m really proud of you.”

Hadid works with trainer, Rob Piela, to help her stay in shape. He tells Vogue that Hadid is a hard worker. “It’s all about how hard you work and how much you put in,” Piela says. “Gigi is a hard worker. Staying fit is all about consistency. Don’t miss workout days. Don’t get lazy in the winter.”

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Hadid opened up about her daily schedule. She says that she likes to box on a regular basis. “I rode horses and played volleyball back home, so when I came to New York it was hard for me to just go to the gym. I need to have a sport that wakes me up and that I can get better at, and boxing does that for me. I usually go to Gotham Gym in the West Village.

Having someone to help motivate her is very important to Hadid. She tells Harper’s Bazaar that she was looking for a trainer to help her stay in shape. “My boxing trainer has become my coach,” she says. “The coach-player thing has been really important my whole life.”
