Charli XCX Roblox Concert Live to Promote Samsung’s Latest Phones

Charli XCX is heading to Roblox for a live concert to promote Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones.

The Samsung Superstar Galaxy experience is now live in Roblox for all users. For a limited time, players can live their dreams as a pop-star by performing, dancing, and creating in the Roblox world. All of this will culminate in a virtual concert finale on June 17. The top users will take the stage and share the spotlight with performer Charli XCX.

The Superstar Galaxy world drops players onto a massive futuristic space station. Each player is equipped with their own virtual Galaxy Z Flip3 phone, which is used to guide users throughout the experience. Charli XCX communicates directly with players as they complete challenges, explore the galaxy, and get tips on navigating the experience. The virtual phone can even be used to snap selfies of characters in the event.

Roblox says there will be new content drops every Friday leading up to the concert featuring Charli XCX.

These include fan-favorite Charli XCX songs, new in-game zones, and props to decorate your stage in the world. Players can also unlock exclusive pop-inspired items to customize their avatars and create their very own unique, pop-star persona.

“Roblox and Samsung feel like the perfect duo to extend the interaction I have with my fans,” says Charli XCX about the new virtual experience. “The partnership is one that will give my community the access and ability to experience me in ways they previously have not been able to, which is extremely exciting!”

Samsung has been experimenting with digital experiences to entice buyers of its smartphones. It recently created Samsung 837X, which is an online playground designed after the Samsung Flagship store in New York City.
