Bridget Moynahan stepped out for the first time after being caught in the crossfire of Tom Brady’s Netflix comedy roast.
Moynahan graced an event in New York City on Tuesday, May 7, celebrating the release of Blue Bloods co-star Tom Selleck’s memoir, You Never Know. The pair struck poses for photographs before engaging in a lively discussion, which also featured a Q&A session with the audience.
The 53-year-old actress posted some highlights of the evening to social media, calling Selleck’s new book “really good”.
This event was Moynahan’s first public outing since her name came up at The Roast of Tom Brady. Comedian Nikki Glaser was the first to mention Moynahan and Brady’s relationship during the special, which aired live on Sunday, May 5.
In the Netflix special, the ex-NFL star faced criticism from Glaser for ending his relationship with Moynahan in 2006 when she was expecting their son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan.
“Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long,” Glaser began. “You retired then came back then retired, I get it. It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend.”
When Will Ferrell slipped into his iconic Ron Burgundy persona from Anchorman he also referenced Brady’s history with Moynahan., “The last time this guy went truly deep he ended up paying child support to Bridget Moynahan,” he quipped.
Perhaps showing she was aware of the comments about her breakup and pregnancy, Moynahan posted a cryptic quote on Instagram: “Loyal people take s— more personal because they never would’ve done that s— to you.”

Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan ended their relationship in 2006, having dated for over two years. Shortly after, the former NFL star began a new relationship with model Gisele Bündchen. Two months following their split, Moynahan discovered she was pregnant, and in 2007, she welcomed their son, Jack, into the world.
Brady maintained a co-parenting relationship with Moynahan as he grew his family with Bündchen, aged 43. Together, they have a son, Benjamin, 14, and a daughter, Vivian, 11. However, after 13 years of marriage, they decided to go their separate ways in 2022.
Meanwhile, Moynahan has also found love again, with businessman Andrew Frankel. The couple tied the knot in 2015.
