Sarah McLachlan is “swapping singing for puppies for singing to people” next summer.
The popular Canadian singer took to Instagram to share that she’s taking her ‘Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary Tour’ with special guests Feist and Allison Russell on select dates to venues all over North America from May through July.
Along the way, the two-time Grammy winner will swing into Lewiston, NY’s Artpark Mainstage Theater on Tuesday, June 18 and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Monday, July 24.
“I’ll be playing the album ‘Fumbling Towards Ecstasy’ in its entirety, along with some of my greatest hits, hopefully all of your favorites and maybe a few new ones,” she added.
“I’m in the process of writing,” the 55-year-old told USA Today. “I could not tell you when a new record is coming, but there will be some new songs played on the tour.”
And if you want to hear what McLachlan has cooking as well as “Possession,” “Angel,” “Building A Mystery,” “I Will Remember You” and other gems from the Lilith Fair founder’s catalog, you can pick up your tickets as soon as today.

McLachlan’s third studio album was released in 1993 and immediately struck a chord in her native Canada.
The pensive 12-track record is known for its lead single “Possession” which tells the story of a deranged male fan obsessed with a woman, based on McLachlan’s stalker.
Other standout songs include the jangly, poppy “Plenty,” rocking “Circle” and the nervy, discordant “Fear.”
Pitchfork called the album “a fascinating outlier in (McLachlan’s) catalog, an unsparing and expansive album written in the mountains of Quebec following traumatic experiences in her life.”
