How to get tickets to Tenacious D 'Spicy Meatball' Tour 2023

If you’ve always wanted to hear the “greatest and best song in the world” live, this is your year.

Tenacious D, known for the tongue-in-cheek jam “Tribute” aka “the best song in the world,” just announced they’ve added a six-concert U.S. leg to their ‘Spicy Meatball’ Tour this September.

From Sept. 6-15, Jack Black and Kyle Gass will hit pavilions, amphitheaters, music halls and theatres all over North America and hopefully brining their brand spanking new cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” with them.

And if you need tickets to see “The Metal” rockers live literally right now, well, you’re in the right place.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, June 9, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Prior to the tour, Tenacious D will perform at the Video Game Awards at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on June 25.

2023 Video Game Awards

The Hollywood Bowl’s June 25 Video Game Awards show is more live concert than award show.

At the one-night-only event, Tenacious D will perform but that’s not all.

Composer Lorne Balfe and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra will perform interpretations of tracks from “Elden Ring,” “Final Fantasy,” “Hogwarts Legacy,” “Spider-Man,” “The Last of Us” and many more.

Gustavo Santaolalla is on the bill as well.

Tenacious D new music

Although there’s now album yet — even though it was teased at the end of the band’s latest single “Video Games” — fans can jam out to their “Wicked Game” cover, “Who Medley” (a rockin’ tribute to Pete Townshend and co.) and “Video Games” right this very minute.
