GRiZ and Big Gigantic to Perform at Denver Nuggets NBA Championship Parade

We hope you like bass music, Nuggets fans.

On the back of yet another historic performance from MVP Nikola Jokić, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the 2023 NBA Finals to take home the franchise’s first-ever championship, ending a 56-year wait.

As is tradition with the sport, the team will now celebrate at a hometown championship parade on Thursday. Fans will be able to cheer on their favorite players as they party in the streets of downtown Denver and commemorate their historic win.

Those who happen to enjoy bass music and pro basketball are in for a treat since GRiZ and Big Gigantic have been confirmed for free performances, according to local reports.

Considering the greater Denver area regularly hosts some of the nation’s biggest bass events and the immense popularity of electronic music in the city, the news should come as no surprise. The “Open Your Mind” collaborators will perform in the Civic Center Park at 9am before the start of the official Nuggets Championship Parade at 10am.
