Adin Ross finally reveals $1m sponsor he lost over Doechii rant backlash

Adin Ross has revealed which sponsorship opportunity he lost after the backlash for his outburst on Doechii, revealing it was apparently worth $1 million.

Back in mid-May, Doechii went viral online for her wardrobe choices at the Met Gala. The artist, who has become incredibly popular for her song ‘Anxiety’, had assistants cover her with umbrellas so she couldn’t be seen during a wardrobe change.

The moment split opinion online, with plenty of different people giving their take on it. Adin Ross found himself in hot water after blasting the artist over it.. “What an entitled, unintelligent, piece of sh*t she is, bro. I’m not joking, bro, stop listening to her music. …She’s just the worst,” he said.

In the aftermath, the Kick streamer revealed that he had lost “big” sponsors off the back of that rant, but refused to give their names at the time. Now, a few weeks on, and he’s revealed just who dropped him.

Adin Ross claims he lost Sports Illustrated deal

“You know what’s crazy? That same brand was offering me a deal,” he said after fellow streamer N3on claimed he had gotten a sponsorship with Sports Illustrated.

“Right? So, I got offered that same deal before they dropped me for the Doechii rant. They were going to pay me a million dollars. What’d they pay you?”

Ross claimed that his fellow streamer had gotten “$15k” for the deal before suggesting it may have gone up to $100+, but the pair laughed it off as he mentioned those figures.

Initially, fans had suggested that the deal he lost was with a clothing brand. That came as Adin went on to make references to Nocta being the only brand he could wear.

He wouldn’t have been the first internet creator featured by Sports Illustrated either. Back in 2021, FaZe Clan had an edition dedicated to them alongside NFL quarterback Kyler Murray.
