COUNTRY singer Lainey Wilson halted her most recent concert when she experienced a wardrobe malfunction on stage.
She headlined the Faster Horses Festival in Michigan on July 20 when she was forced to sit down.
In the middle of performing, Lainey, 32, randomly stepped off stage and stopped singing.
When she came back out, with new pants on, the country singer told fans that she left momentarily because her pants had split.
“Y’all just about got a real show… a REAL show,” Lainey told the crowd in a TikTok video captured by a fan.
“There’s a first time for everything and I’m glad it was y’all that I split my pants wide open in front of. You can’t make that up… I’d have never known had my people back here not seen it.”

She then sat down on top of the fake pickup truck and continued on with her speech.
“Alright… I got some new pants on. I’ll tell you what, try and put on some jeans when you sweating… it ain’t fun. You gotta jump in them things,” she went on.
Lainey took it in stride and laughed it off before returning to her performance.
She wore a black vest, the new blue jeans she changed into, cowboy boots, and a sparkly purple cowboy hat.

TikTok users commented on the video and couldn’t get over how funny Lainey is.
“She’s so dang genuine & funny!” one fan wrote.
“What a lady, what a singer, what a true person,” said another.
“I just love her!” added a third.
MOVING ON
After her pants split, Lainey brought a child named Nora on stage.
In a video captured by the same fan, she complimented Nora’s outfit and then gave her affirmations to repeat.
“I am beautiful. I am smart. I am talented. I can do anything. I am cowgirl of the night,” she said.
Nora did not sing with Lainey, but left feeling inspired.
