Kate McKinnon was joined by fellow Saturday Night Live alumni Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph and current cast member Bowen Yang in a sketch spoofing ABBA. The foursome starred as the Swedish pop group, promoting their holiday album.
This weekend’s Christmas episode of SNL was hosted by McKinnon, who returned to Studio 8H for the first time since ending her 10-year-run on the show in 2022. Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph also joined her during the episode’s monologue, as well as in a pre-taped sketch about a Tampon Farm which also featured cameos from musical guest Billie Eilish and Barbie director Greta Gerwig.
Fans of ABBA can catch the group in digital form via “ABBA Voyage,” their ongoing hologram concert series that’s staged at the ABBA Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
