‘Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire’

“It was incredible,” he exclaimed about being a part of the film “Rebel Moon.” “Even though I was only there for a short while, ‘Rebel Moon’ was an amazing experience. I was there for a week and a half or so, and it was so much fun on set. It was so cool to get to work with Zack Snyder and to see just how passionate and excited he is about making movies, especially at the scale that he makes them.”

“It was a really refreshing experience,” he admitted. “Sofia Boutella, the lead actress, was fantastic too. She is a very giving actress, very sweet and encouraging. She really made me want to push my acting a little bit further. She is so studious with her approach to the craft. She was so awesome.”

‘The Young and The Restless’

He is known for playing the role of Noah Newman on “The Young and The Restless” on CBS, who is the son of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and the grandson of the iconic Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Gibson noted that he is thrilled that “The Young and The Restless” has been renewed for four more years. “That is so cool,” he admitted. “That is going to be awesome.”

Advice for young actors

For young and aspiring actors, Gibson said, “Know for a fact that this is what you want to do. If there is any doubt, then it’s not probably the path for you. It’s hard; it’s not an easy career path at all. It’s a lot of rejections and a lot of ‘nos.’ Once you book the roles, it is very fulfilling and you feel fantastic. It really is all in the preparations.”

Dream Loud campaign

Gibson opened up about being a part of Brad Everett Young’s Dream Loud campaign, which works on preserving arts and music programs in schools. “That was awesome,” he admitted.

“Brad is such a cool guy, he is so nice. Out of all the shoots that I’ve done, his is definitely the most casual and the most cinematic. I really enjoy shooting with him,” he added.

‘Twisted Twin’

On being a part of the Lifetime movie “Twisted Twin,” Gibson said, “It was awesome to be a part of ‘Twisted Twin.’ When I booked ‘The Young and The Restless,’ Lauren was one of the first people that I texted because I wanted to know what to expect.”

“Lauren had told me about her husband Josh [Swickard] being on ‘General Hospital.’ Lauren was just so sweet, and she is just the coolest. She seems to be such a great mom too.”

“Lauren and Josh are busting out some movies together,” he said. “That is so cool that they get to work together like that.”

Future plans

Regarding his future plans, Gibson remarked, “Hopefully, to continue to do work that I am proud of, and work that I consider to be interesting.”

“Outside of work, I am engaged, so hopefully, a nice wedding soon. I am excited about it. We are just trying to find the right time and the right place for a wedding,” he added.

Superpower of choice

If he were to have any superpower, it would be “to teleport.” “Teleportation would check all the boxes,” he acknowledged.
