Despite the scandal surrounding their budding romance, the lovebirds seem to have taken their relationship to the next level of meeting parents.
Over the weekend, the pop singer and her boyfriend were seen spending time with her dad.

Grande and Slater spent the holidays bonding with their family. The lovebirds were spotted in New York City on Tuesday enjoying a rare dinner outing with the “Positions” singer’s father Ed Butera and a girlfriend.
A source claimed about the outing, “They had dinner with her dad and family at her family’s favorite Italian restaurant.” The insider further added that the group proceeded to catch Slater’s new Broadway musical, “Spamalot” after dinner.
The insider explained to Page Six, “They love to support each other in their work… when she’s done with work, she loves going to the theater when she can.”
Photos of the couple during the outing made waves on the internet. In a viral pic, Grande and Slater were seen disembarking a black luxury SUV in matching black outfits. The Nickelodeon alum was dressed to the nines for the event in a mini-skirt paired with a button-down sweater with fur-lined sleeves and semi-sheer tights.
She spiced up the all-black look with a hat, a Chanel purse, and simple black heels. Slater, on the other hand, opted for a more casual look consisting of Nike pants, a tracksuit jacket, and a pair of black sneakers. The Broadway star placed his hand gently around Grande’s waist as they entered the establishment.
Butera seemed to love the company of his daughter and her new man as he was seen laughing while chatting with them. Recall that the pair’s sizzling romance made headlines in July amid both parties ending their respective marriages.
Grande ended her almost two-year marriage to ex-husband Dalton Gomez, with sources claiming their “different” lives after the pandemic caused a rift. On the other hand, Slater called it quits with his wife and the mother of his child Lilly Jay.

The “Side to Side” songstress and Slater were plagued with cheating rumors, with sources even claiming that they went on multiple double dates with their now-ex-spouses. It also didn’t help that Jay blasted Grande for not being “Not a girl’s girl” and seemingly wrecking her home.
Regardless, the lovers have remained unbothered flaunting their romance during Disney World dates and allegedly moving in together to start their lives together.

While the “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical” star seems to have gotten the stamp of approval from his girlfriend’s father, the same cannot be said of Grande’s friends.
Per reports, the fast pace of her romance with Slater is causing tension in her inner circle as they are worried she is being impulsive with her decisions, especially choosing to start living together so soon after their respective divorces.
An insider noted that the “Sam & Cat” alum “falls hard and fast.” The source added, “That’s who she is. Everyone is telling her to slow down before she makes another mistake — but she is that girl who can never stay single for long.”
The informant also claimed that Grande’s frequent presence for her boyfriend’s Broadway show, “Spamalot” has also been a bone of contention.
“Ariana has shown up at Ethan’s Broadway show at least five times and plans to keep going at least once a week,” the source explained. “Her presence in the audience is freaking everyone out!”
Grande and Slater crossed paths while working on the “Wicked” film adaptation. She reportedly informed her close pals not to speak of their romance, especially when their respective divorce proceedings hadn’t ended.
