TORI Spelling has filed for divorce from her husband of 18 years and has asked for sole custody of their minor children.
The celebrity couple tied the knot in 2006 and share five kids: Beau, 20, Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, and Finn, 11, with her now ex-husband.

Tori, 50, has finally filed for divorce from Dean, 57, after years of speculation regarding their marriage.
The actress listed their date of separation as June 17, 2023, and cited irreconcilable differences, according to legal documents unearthed by TMZ.
In the divorce filing, the 90210 star asked the court to force Dean to pay spousal support and remove his ability to request the same from her.
Tori has also asked for sole physical custody and joint legal custody of the couple’s four minor children.

Per the legal documents uncovered by TMZ, she also mentioned she is open to Dean being awarded visitation rights.
The TV star made no mention of a marital prenup in the filing, claiming the former couple’s shared property and assets need to be determined by the courts as the case plays out.
CALLING IT QUITS
In June 2023, Tori and Dean announced that they were splitting up.
The Canadian actor shared the difficult news on his Instagram page.
He wrote, “It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.
“We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.”
Tori and Dean tied the knot in 2006, shortly after he settled his divorce with his first wife, Mary Jo Eustace.
In addition to his five kids with the socialite, McDermott is also the father of Jack, whom he shares with Mary.
DIFFICULT MARRIAGE
Just a few days after the news broke of their split, a source close to the couple exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun that their marriage was “a complete disaster” toward the end.
“Dean has spoken about leaving Tori for 4 years and the night he announced their marriage was over on social media, it shocked Tori because she never takes Dean seriously.
“But that night, they both were drinking heavily and had a huge blowout fight,” the informant alleged.
“The announcement on social media was like the dropping of a bomb. She had no idea he would take it that far,” they claimed.
After their split, the Chopped Canada star spent significant time in a sober living facility.

FINANCIAL STRUGGLES
In July 2021, The U.S. Sun revealed Dean wanted to file for divorce earlier, but he could not “afford it.”
The insider explained, “Tori and Dean are totally stuck together right now. Neither of them can afford to go through divorce proceedings.
“Right now, divorce isn’t on the horizon because they can’t swing it financially. They are in a living nightmare.”
Rumors ran wild of a potential breakup for Tori and Dean as far back as November 2021 after the news of his shocking cheating scandal came to light.
The actor confessed to cheating on the 90s star in 2014 and candidly spoke about his infidelity.
At the time, a source told People that the former pair were “not in a good place and have been evaluating their relationship.”
“It’s been very chilly between them for a long time. They have been through the wringer before, but they’ve always gotten out of it.”
