Simone Biles caught some heat from NFL fans while supporting her husband Jonathan Owens at a preseason game on Saturday (August 17).
The 27-year-old Olympian gymnast cheered on her 29-year-old husband, who is a safety for the Chicago Bears this season, during his game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
When getting dressed for the game, Simone chose a jacket that has sparked some controversy amongst Bears fans.

The jacket in question featured images of Jonathan on the football field… However, he’s wearing his old Packers uniform, and the team’s logo is visible in some of the images.
If you were unaware, the Bears and Packers have a pretty fierce rivalry. Seeing the team’s logo in photos and images on social media stirred some fans up, and they were quick to jokingly point it out.
“Simone Biles wearing a Packers jacket to Soldier Field!?! LMAOOOOO,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “This season of the greatest sitcom to ever grace television, The Bears, already off to one hilarious start.”
Other fans were quick to understand that the jacket was custom and from her husband’s days with the Packers.
Of course, the couple is no stranger to controversy. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone hit back at criticism after letting Jonathan wear one of her Gold Medals.
She recently revealed if the couple was thinking about having kids.
