RYAN Reynolds has joked he didn’t know his wife Blake Lively’s real last name after the actress unveiled her new beauty brand.
Blake, 36, debuted her haircare company Blake Brown Beauty on July 31, ahead of its launch later this month.
Ryan, who is currently enjoying the massive success of his new Marvel film Deadpool & Wolverine, congratulated Blake on her latest venture with a message on his Instagram Stories.
The 47-year-old Hollywood star said he is “obscenely proud” of Blake, while quipping “I just found out her name is Brown”.
Blake Brown Beauty is named after the Gossip Girl star’s father Ernest Brown, who changed his name to Ernest Lively after marrying her mother Elaine Lively in 1979.
Ryan wrote that Blake’s new line of haircare essentials is “exactly what you’d expect of a hyper-obsessive, detail addicted, uncompromising quality control genius” on his Stories.

Blake responded to Ryan on her own Instagram account, suggesting Ryan follow in her father’s footsteps and change his own last name as well.
“Now that I think about it, Ryan Lively has a nice ring to it.
“Your move, Reynolds.”
The A-list couple, who have a long history of trolling each other on social media, recently attended the premiere of Marvel’s smash-hit Deadpool & Wolverine together.
Blake showed her support for Ryan, who plays the wisecracking superhero, by walking the red carpet in a catsuit that paid tribute to his character.
Calling Blake Brown Beauty her “newest baby”, Blake revealed the beauty brand has been in the works for seven years in an Instagram post on July 31.
Launching with eight products, Blake Brown Beauty promises a simplified, affordable hair care routine that the actress swears by.
She explained, “[My hair is] my longest companion in life. For 36 years and counting. And like any relationship, it’s healthiest when you take good care of each other.
“To love it well, I’ve found a system that has worked wonders for me, a hack of sorts through decades of working with the very best people in the industry, and silly amounts of trial and error,” Blake continued.
“I spent 7 years (I know. It toggles between impressive and wtf took so long) obsessively developing every detail of my newest baby, @blakebrownbeauty,” she concluded.

FAMILY MATTERS
Ryan recently revealed the name of his and Blake’s youngest child, 16 months after the baby was born.
He confirmed the toddler’s name is Olin while speaking at the world premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, also starring Hugh Jackman.
Olin is a Nordic-inspired name that means “ancestor’s heir” or “to inherit.”
Ryan later subtly revealed Olin’s gender during a heartwarming conversation with John Bell, a Wrexham AFC fan who lost his son.
Wrexham AFC is the name of the Welsh football club Ryan co-owns with actor Rob McElhenney.
In an Instagram video posted on Sunday, John opened up about grieving for his son Jake, as Ryan shared his own experiences of parenthood.
“I want to share with you that I too have a son and that if … boy, John, if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a pretty damn good job,” Ryan added, confirming Olin is his and Blake’s only son.
He also praised John for his strength in the face of terrible adversity, while recognizing his initiative to raise awareness about mental health.
“I was planning my own death and talking myself into staying because my family needs me, my kids need me,” John told Ryan.
“What I do now keeps me alive daily because I’ve made my peace with death. I’m gonna be reunited with him at some point, but it damn right ain’t now.”
After his interview with Ryan, John said he was “honored” the actor “made it public to the world that his 4th born child is a boy” in an Instagram post.
