Exclusive: Get an Early Look at Hulu’s ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ Season 3

In February, Wu-Tang: An American Saga will kick off what marks its final stretch of new episodes on Hulu, thus bringing the fictionalized retelling of the Wu-Tang Clan story to a close after three seasons.

Ahead of the Season 3 premiere, Complex is sharing a selection of exclusive first-look images, including (as seen up top) a behind-the-scenes snapshot of T.J. Atoms in period-appropriate attire as Ol’ Dirty Bastard alter ego Dirt McGirt. Joining Atoms in the exclusive image from the 1970s Blaxploitation-inspired allegorical exploration of ODB’s journey toward his debut album Return to the 36 Chambers is episode director Mario Van Peebles and series co-creator RZA. Q-Tip, also pictured, visited the set during production.

Wu-Tang: An American Saga will premiere its third and final season on Feb. 15, complete with three new episodes. Following this extended premiere strategy, the rollout will proceed on a weekly basis, all leading up to the series finale on April 5.

In June of last year, Wu-Tang Clan commemorated the 25th anniversary of the classic Wu-Tang Forever album with a collaborative vinyl and cassette collection from Get On Down and Legacy Recordings. That same year, Wu-Tang and Nas embarked on their co-headlining NY State of Mind tour. The 25-stop routing concluded with a final show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
