Kenya Moore has had it with her prolonged divorce drama!

The model became well known after becoming the second black woman to win the Miss USA pageant in 1993 and, after that, a main cast member on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

She filed for a divorce in 2021 from her husband of over three years, Marc Daly, with whom she shares a daughter. Two years later, the divorce is still not final, and the star explains why it is taking so long.

The pair got married in 2017 and seemed happy till the reality TV star filed for a divorce. Moore recently explained to TMZ why things were at a standstill while expressing hope that it would get moving.

Although they initially separated in 2019, the 52-year-old officially filed in 2021. She told the publication that there is one roadblock in their way to rounding things up on what she called the world’s longest divorce.

The Detroit native said that the reason was that they do not have a prenuptial agreement and that it makes dividing their properties, especially things they had while still married, difficult.

When the ex-couple initially split, she said, “Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage,” while adding that their 4-year-old would continue to be her main priority.

She also expressed high hopes that everything would be settled in time for hot girl summer. Despite all that has been happening, the “RHOA” star has said that the divorce would not keep her from meeting other people.

Last September, The Blast shared that Moore has refused to let anything or anyone hold her back. Known for her vibrant mix of beauty and brains in the series, she let everyone know that she is open and available and declared open season on the dating streets.

The actress said as much during the second part of the show’s reunion while chatting with host Andy Cohen. PEOPLE reported that she said, “I’m definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet.”

The “Waiting To Exhale” star disclosed that she had been on some double dates as well as feeling a lot lighter, probably due to her flourishing business. The author noted that her reignited energy was why people kept trying to introduce her to their single male friends, who also liked her vibe well enough to try and reach out.

Her new persona might also be what prompted her to want to start all over with her fellow cast mates.

After joining the show in its fifth season, while she became popular quickly, the “Game, Get Some!” author did not have a great reputation on the show due to her sometimes straight-talking character that sometimes came across as mean.

The Blast reported that this, of course, created a lot of drama on the show, including feuds with older members like Phaedra Parks, Nene Leakes, Drew Sidora, and Porsha Williams. However, the Bravo star shared that the audience would be treated to a changed person as she wanted out of the villain role attributed to her.

The former “Miss Michigan” noted while speaking with ET that being the bad guy was not her true nature. She only played along because she was pushed into the character unfairly and could not drop it at the time.

The “Senseless” actress declared that she was over being mean and would only be her authentic self, adding, “It’s funny because I think I got pegged for this villаin role, аnd now it’s like, girl, just hаnd thаt bаton over to someone else.”

She did, however, note that she would still stand up for herself, but this time with more grace and dignity. The “Deliver Us From Eva” actress explained that her divorce from Daly also helped to boost her confidence and reclaim her authentic self.

Moore further noted that the fourteenth season was about her figuring out her life and getting back to who she was before, adding, “It’s аll in good fun, аnd I’m tаking bаck my power.”
