HAPPY Gilmore star Christopher McDonald, who played the role of Shooter McGavin in the hit 90s flick, has made a red carpet appearance almost three decades after he starred in the movie.
The actor, 69, attended the Los Angeles Premiere of Reagan at TCL Chinese Theatre on August 20 in Hollywood.
Dressed in black trousers and a matching black shirt, Christopher looked dapper as he accessorized with a gray blazer-style jacket.
His appearance comes after Adam Sandler gushed about the revival of the flick, which came out almost three decades ago, this week.
HAPPY GILMORE FAME
Christopher is best known for playing the villainous professional golfer Shooter McGavin in the 1996 comedy Happy Gilmore, which stars Adam Sandler as the lead character, Happy Gilmore.
In the movie, Happy is an aspiring hockey player who joins the PGA tour to make some money to save his grandma’s house after it faced foreclosure.

In the flick, he doesn’t really have the temper to go up against the favorite of the game and win the championship.
But in a wonderful turn of events, Happy wins and suddenly becomes a big star on the pro golf tour and a working-class hero.
STEPPING OUT
Christopher’s appearance at the Reagan premiere followed another recent public sighting.
On Friday night, the Shooter star appeared at the Rumble Ponies game, with his fans even having the opportunity to get autographs and pictures with the actor during the game.
FAN FRIENDLY
Christopher is keen to get out and meet his fans, and has previously spoken about this and how his favorite actor Jimmy Stewart influenced him.
The Shooter star previously said in an interview that Jimmy would “go out and meet fans all the time and it made him so beloved by his fans because he was one of those guys that would do it rather than staying and playing, between movies, just sitting around.
“He would go out there and go to all the places where he could meet them. They weren’t malls then but they were just starting and all that stuff. But he just, people loved him. He loved to mingle with the crowd so. I’ve been running with that one for a while and I really like it.”
Christopher also previously said, according to WBNG, “The fact that they love my work, other work I’ve done other than Happy Gilmore.
“They just love taking pictures with it because it’s part of their childhood. And I get that a lot.
