KYLIE Jenner has finally shown off her finished perfume, but some fans aren’t impressed.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder shared her first scent on Instagram on Friday, and was quickly criticized by her followers.
In her post, Kylie, 26, showed off the finished bottle for her perfume, Cosmic.
The bottle sat against a neutral background, emphasizing the artistically molded glass, pink liquid, and metallic cap.
“From another world. Our sculptural bottle was formed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. Cosmic by Kylie Jenner coming March 7 to kyliecosmetics.com,” the Hulu star wrote in her caption.
In the comment section, however, fans weren’t inspired by the name Cosmic, and accused her of copying major makeup brand Glossier‘s famous perfume.

“This bottle looks just like Glossier’s,” said one critic.
“Your billions of dollars couldn’t do better than this dumb name?” asked a second.
“Should’ve spelled it Kosmic,” a third social media user advized.
Some fans had more particular criticism of the product design, pointing out some flaws in the unique bottle.

“If it’s clear, where is the straw in the middle to get the product?” asked one.
“Who holds a perfume bottle for that long,” a second slammed, referring to the “ergonomic” feature of the unusual shape.
THROWN OFF SCENT
This isn’t the first time Kylie’s new perfume has been criticized by fans.
The star first teased the new product in a post last week, showing pieces of paper with bottle designs, with “Kylie Fragrance” written in the corner.
Reality television star Kylie also held onto a tiny sample bottle, suggesting that the scent was well underway.
While many fans shared excited comments about the upcoming product, others were focused on the unique bottle design ideas.
“Kylie Fragrance coming soon,” shared one fan on Reddit along with Kylie’s photo, sparking a slew of wild comparisons.
“It’s giving chicken nugget,” said one.
“Peeled potato,” a second fan judged.
“It looks like a fatty liver,” wrote a third.
SEEING DOUBLE
Alongside being slammed for her bottle design and name, Kylie was accused of copying Kali Uchis in her promotional material for the new scent.
In the commercial shared on Instagram on Thursday, Kylie posed while flowers framed her face and branched out from her hair.
Many fans quickly noticed similarities between Kylie’s styling and the artwork for Kali Uchis‘ albums Red Moon In Venus and Orquídeas, and wondered whether she’d taken direct inspiration.
On a forum dedicated to the Kardashians, one fan shared a screenshot of Kylie’s latest business venture and said, “If you’re a Kali Uchis fan… you understand why this is kind of… weird.”
“Kylie’s transitioned from a trendsetter to a trend bandwagoner,” another blasted in response.
“Wait… I really thought this was Kali. This one is definitely undeniable,” said a third.
