Kris Statlander in Two-Piece Workout Gear Gives "POV You Asked For"

Kris Statlander is giving her fans what they want: an image of her fit figure. In a new social media post the AEW wrestler shows off her amazing body in a crop top, highlighting her rock hard abs. “POV you asked for uppies,” she captioned the post. How does the wrestler approach diet and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

In an interview with Alicia Atout, Kris explained that her workout routine consists of “a couple different things and I shake it up a little bit,” but doesn’t involve strength training. “I did try weight training a couple of years ago throughout the pandemic however with my carpal tunnel one day my fingers went numb and I dropped a barbell on my foot and it just it completely freaked me out it with my head so I haven’t done that in a hot minute,” she said. She does sit-ups, crunches, and squats.

“What I do instead is I have a Peloton and I go on that baby,” she told Alicia Atout. “I try at least every day every other day. I love it. I just don’t know what it is about spinning. I just enjoy it so, so much,” she said. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

“I love Pilates,” she added. “I recently discovered, and it’s so stupid because it’s this weird online trend, but the wall Pilates. I can just feel the strength of my core so much better. So sometimes the viral things work.” Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

“When it comes to drinks,” Kris loves hot chocolate, milk, and “this is gonna be a weird one but I love water,” she gushed. “It’s so bland but there’s something, it just tastes good. I’ll never know how to describe it. I love water.” According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Kris has a favorite type of food. “Give me  all the carbs,” she said. “I love pastas, I love pizza, I love sushi, I love mashed potatoes,” she continued. “I’m a meat girl. I love steak. Give me a giant steak with like a Gorgonzola sauce on it.”
