In a revealing interview, the Dancing With the Stars host opened up about sleeping with her Golden Retriever, Sunny.

The hostess shared with People about how her mornings with Sunny improved her mental health.
“Our morning ritual is we’ll play in bed. I’ll wake her up and she’ll come and get into bed, and we will play for a good, solid 15 minutes,” the ABC star admitted.
“You’ll be surprised when you’re laughing and playing and totally present with a dog — how much that changes your energy.”
“Nothing better than a dog,” Julianne concluded.
In mid-September 2023, the professional dancer showed off her new puppy while spinning him around as part of a viral Taylor Swift trend on TikTok.
“Sunny girls’ TikTok debut,” she captioned the short video.
Sunny’s debut came after Julianne lost her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs in September 2019.
Her oldest pup, Lexi, turned 11, and her other dog, Harley, was eight.
HOOKING UP?
Julianne’s morning ritual confession came after she was spotted in public with her rumored boyfriend.
The TV star stepped out with model-turned-actor Tyler Lain in the Big Apple.
During their New York stroll, the two-time Mirror Ball trophy-winner flaunted her winter wardrobe in an olive green overcoat and ankle-length, high-slit tan dress.
She paired her ensemble with a black leather bag and knee-high, snake-skin boots.
Julianne completed the hip look with tortoiseshell sunglasses and styled her long, blond hair into loose waves.
The male model sported sunglasses and a black overcoat over his fleece polo shirt and pin-stripe slacks.
The two talked and laughed while out and about in Tribeca.
Dating rumors swirled in 2023 after the pair made several public appearances together, and the two looked chummy on New Year’s Eve.
‘A GREAT MATCH’
In mid-February, The U.S. Sun exclusively confirmed the TV personality’s return to the talent competition show.
The bosses at ABC decided to stick with Julianne and Alfonso Ribeiro, 52, as co-hosts in the fall.
“Alfonso and [Julianne] are such a great match and bring warmth and expertise to the show,” the insider revealed.
“Julianne is staying as the host despite all of this drama around the tour with fans.”
“She was really loved by the audiences and by the team on the show – they loved the fact she…resonates with…warmth and understanding,” the source continued.
“Tyra’s style was not that…appreciated.”
Julianne replaced supermodel Tyra Banks, 50, as the hostess in early 2023.
Season 33 of DWTS will air in early fall 2024, but the casting for the contestants is still unconfirmed.
