Maggie Rogers teased an upcoming new song in a post she shared to social media on New Year’s Day.
“See you in 2024,” Rogers captioned a screen-recorded clip of what appears to be “Don’t Forget Me,” a song she’s tested out in a handful of recent live performances (including at Newport Folk Festival in 2023) and in a TikTok last summer. “So close the door and change the channel/ Give me somethin’ I can handle/ A good lover or someone that’s nice to me,” she belts in the chorus over some twangy, fingerpicked strings.
Rogers didn’t clarify a release date aside from it arriving sometime in 2024, so that could mean any day now. Stream the preview of “Don’t Forget Me” below.
Rogers’ last album was 2022’s Surrender, and in January, she teamed up with Zach Bryan on his single “Dawns.”
