Faye Webster Announces New Album, Shares Lil Yachty Collab

Faye Webster has announced her new album, Underdressed at the Symphony, out March 1st via Secretly Canadian. As a preview, the CoSign alum has shared her new single, “Lego Ring” featuring Lil Yachty. Stream it below.

Recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas with Webster’s longtime band, Underdressed at the Symphony explores emotional intimacy and how desire and passion are often at odds with comfort, understanding, and platonic love. Pre-orders are ongoing.

On “Lego Ring,” Webster’s airy vocals come together with Yachty’s warble as she sings, “I know what I like/ I know what I want/ But you know I kinda need.” Yachty responds, “You and me are like a dream team/ Always together like string beans.”

In the visual treatment, directed by Kyle Ng of Braindead Studios, the duo performs the song while playing a video game called Faye Webster’s Singsongrama, which is similar to Rock Band. Watch the clip below, and play the game for yourself here.

Underdressed at the Symphony also features the previously released singles “Lifetime” and “But Not Kiss.” The album marks the follow-up to 2021’s I Know I’m Funny haha. In 2022, Webster released her Car Therapy Sessions EP, featuring new and reimagined songs backed by a full orchestra.

Later this month, Webster will hit the road for a string of dates in Australia, the UK, Ireland, and Europe. See the full schedule below and get tickets here. She’s also set to make an appearance at Bonnaroo in mid-June, and you can grab your pass here.
