A MODEL reckons people take her less seriously because she’s hot.
Gym girl Alexa Collins, from Miami, Florida, has millions of social media followers who love her fitness, fashion and beauty tips.

But she’s found that stunning looks also carry lots of unfair stereotypes.
The Instagram star, 27, says: “I see it all the time with beautiful women, and I actually do hate how society turns this into a real thing.
“I absolutely do get that a lot.
“Especially being blonde, people assume that I’m not intelligent or don’t know how to run my own business until they get to know me.
“People write hate comments, especially on TikTok, about ‘not having a brain’ or ‘relying on my husband for money.’
“Little do they know, we do just as well as each other.”
Alexa found dating difficult for a long time because men struggled to accept her career.
Many guys couldn’t cope with her job because it involved the model showing her sexy side.
But she also believes women should only settle down if their partner is supportive of their choices.
She adds: “I’ve been married for almost two years now and we’ve been together for six years total.
“I will say, it was a difficult road in relationships to find someone who could fully understand my career and how much I was always working.
“There was A LOT of jealousy and insecurity around my past relationships which caused things to spiral downwards.
“I finally found someone who actually supports what I do and wants me to succeed and do better, because at the end of the day, it benefits the both of us. It’s been great.”
Alexa made her first $1 million (£796,000) at 25 thanks to Instagram fame – and she even owns a four-bed house with a swimming pool.
The blonde beauty admits her parents were angry when she dropped out of college to pursue her dream aged 21 – but says she knew she was onto a killer career.
Alexa, who grew up in Palm Beach, south Florida, launched her Instagram in 2014 and immediately treated it as a business.
She says: “At the time I didn’t see it as a full-time job, I always thought it would be something on the side – but I knew Instagram was the way things were going to go.
“I started modelling when I was 18 and used the photo shoot pictures to build a social media presence. Over time, I became more of an influencer.”
She added: “When I left high school, I studied communications at college for three years but I decided to take a break year before graduating – and never went back.
“It took three years for me to see a big growth in my business, that’s when I left college as I realised this was what I wanted to do.
“I was already working with a lot of big brands, so I realised there were opportunities there.”
Alexa now works with big name brands like PrettyLittleThing, Fashion Nova, Urban Decay and Tart Cosmetics.
